This Privacy Policy describes how Entravision Communications Corporation (collectively “Entravision”, “us”, “our”, or “we”) collects, uses, maintains, protects and discloses, personal information or personal data (or the equivalent in your jurisdiction).

Entravision, depending on how you use our Websites or the Services, may collect the following categories of Personal Information about you:

  • Other information: postal address, interests, gender, age, marital status, political affiliation, voting history, photos, and information about your friends, contacts, or referrals.

Trusted Third Parties

  iContact. For newsletter subscription forms that are embedded on our Websites
  DB IP. To obtain the user’s location based on the IP of their internet provider and thus be able to redirect them to that territory or to the market closest to their location. This cookie doesn’t get the user coordinates, but the IP location of the server.
  The Trade Desk. To run some ad campaigns, there is a universal pixel embedded in our Websites that collects information from visitors.
  Google Ad Manager. To display ad campaigns on our Websites, whether they are internal or external campaigns. They work through tags that display ad spaces on our sites, these platforms use user cookies to target the bells.
  Google AdMob. To display ad campaigns in our applications, whether they are internal or external campaigns, they work through tags that display ad spaces in our apps, these platforms use user cookies to segment campaigns.
  Meta (formerly Facebook). To run ad campaigns on social networks. There are different pixels inserted into our Websites that collect information from users about their visits and consumption of content on the web and social networks.
  TikTok. To run ad campaigns on the social network, there are different pixels inserted into our Websites that collect information from users about their visits and consumption of content on the web and social network.
  Google Analytics. To tag each website to collect information about the user and their behavior with our Websites.
  Data analytics providers. To obtain information that assists us in creating custom marketing campaigns.

Entravision uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help our Websites analyze how users use them. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Websites will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information on behalf of us as the operator of the Websites for the purpose of evaluating your use of them, compiling reports on Websites activity for website operators and providing them other services relating to Websites activity and Internet usage. The data collected through these tools is not tied to any Personal Information about you.

In case IP anonymization is activated on the Websites, your IP address will be truncated within the area of Member States of the European Union (“EU”) or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Only in exceptional cases will the whole IP address be first transferred to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. The IP anonymization is active on the Websites. The IP address that your browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google. We will collect Personal Information:

  • Directly from you when you express interest in us as a potential employer, by creating a profile and/or using the tool “Create Job Alert” and/or sending us an application through the “Career Site” in our Websites.
  • Indirectly, where you have made it publicly available on external sources such as LinkedIn or job boards, but we will only continue to process this data if you agree.

We collect, store and use your Personal Information so that we can keep in touch with you and, if applicable, consider and process your application.

  If you are a prospective candidate, retaining your data in order to review your skills, experience and interests and to assess your suitability for, and notify you of, roles that might be of interest to you. You can ask us to delete your data and unsubscribe from the Talent Community at any time.

  Collecting diversity and inclusion data if applicable) to help us to inform our recruiting strategies and undertake appropriate actions and initiatives. By choosing to provide us with this data, you consent to this processing.

Legal Obligation

If you fail to provide information when requested, and that information is necessary for us to consider your application (e.g., evidence of qualifications or work history), your application will be discontinued.

To the extent collected through the application form and subject to applicable legal requirements, we will use your diversity and inclusion data to help us to inform our recruiting strategies and undertake appropriate actions and initiatives.

Entravision is also required by law and/or governmental agencies to maintain records of the race, ethnicity, gender, disability, and veteran status of applicants applying to positions based in the US.

This data will be aggregated with other data to generate diversity statistics.

Submission of this data is optional and there will be no negative consequences if you choose not to provide this data.

Any such information provided by you will not be made available to any decision-maker in the recruitment process, will not be used to consider your suitability for the role, and will not be provided to your manager(s) in the event that you are successful with your application.

By choosing to provide us with this data, you consent to this processing.

If you have provided us with disability or health information so that we can make adjustments to our recruitment process, we will use this to support you during your application.

We will keep your Personal Information for as long as we need to (unless a longer retention period is required or allowed under applicable law):

5.2 Security

Entravision maintains procedural, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect against the loss, misuse or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of Personal Information. These safeguards vary depending upon the sensitivity of the information we collect and store. Please be aware that no security solutions are infallible.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to make certain requests regarding your Personal Information. For example, if you are applying for a role in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may request:

  Right to access to the Personal Information that Entravision holds about you.

  Right to rectification (correction) of your incomplete or incorrect Personal Information.

  Right to erasure of your Personal Information from our records.

  Right to object or restrict certain types of processing that we are carrying out.

  Right to restrict processing or disclosure of your Personal Information if we cannot erase it.

  Right to withdrawal of consent. Where we have asked for your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time; or

  Right to data portability to be provided with certain Personal Information (if/when technically feasible) in machine-readable format and to request that we transfer this to another organization.

You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. California law places certain obligations on businesses that “sell” personal information to third parties or “share” personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not “sell” or “share” your Personal Information covered by this candidate policy and have not done so in the twelve months prior to the effective date of this policy.

In certain instances, applicable local laws may allow us legitimately and properly to refuse some of these requests; for instance, to comply with applicable legal obligations, to protect the legitimate rights of third parties or to preserve the confidentiality of management deliberations.

We also will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to a request. In doing so, we may ask you for verification information so that we can match at least two verification points with information we maintain in our files about you.
